There is simply no better environment to evaluate your needs than in the space where you live and function every day.

What To Expect
With Step Ahead Home Care Physical Therapy, you will receive one-on-one, hands-on treatment at every visit. And because we know that educating family and caregivers can be essential to your success, we will include your family members or others living or providing care for you in your home where appropriate.
Your care will begin with a comprehensive physical therapy evaluation by Dr. Beth Rothman, who will concentrate on your medical condition and immediate physical therapy needs. The evaluation may also involve a home safety assessment for issues that could impact your health and recovery. If necessary and desired, the evaluation may include a conference with your family or at-home caregiver. Dr. Rothman has over 35 years of experience evaluating and treating patients in their homes.
Why Home Care?
The best place to evaluate your needs and to strategize fulfilling your goals is in the space where you live and move every day – your own home. Step Ahead Home Care will make sure that your individualized therapy program will meet your needs and capacity, whatever your situation.
The challenges you face at home are often different from those created in a rehab center, where beds are hospital beds and floors are smooth and uncluttered. And unlike a traditional rehab center or office setting, your home is a private space without the distractions and risks associated with close proximity to other health care personnel or patients.
The first step in our systematic program will right from the start help you become independent where you live, and as you progress in strengthening, balance and mobility, will allow you to expand your horizons with confidence.
The therapists at Step Ahead Home Care PT have worked in Middlesex County and Mercer County for a over 25 years. We have received referrals from primary care, orthopedic, oncologiy, neurology, breast cancer and plastic surgery specialists affiliated with all of the top hospitals including Medical Center of Princeton (now Penn Medical), Robert Wood Johnson, Capital Health, and all of the NYC and Philadelphia hospitals.
